Session Formats
All of my services are available in three session lengths, designed to match the scope of your vision and the adventure you want to capture.
Standard Outdoor Session — $450
Duration: 3 hours
Locations: 1-2 nearby spots
Deliverables: 20+ professionally edited high-resolution images
Best for: Focused sessions at a single beautiful location or quick exploration of two nearby spots
What to expect:
We'll meet at your chosen location (or one I recommend based on your style) and spend focused time capturing natural moments. Perfect for families with young kids, couples wanting a single scenic backdrop, or professionals needing updated brand photos in one environment.
Half‑Day Adventure Session — $900
Duration: 5 hours
Locations: 2-3 diverse spots
Deliverables: 40+ professionally edited high-resolution images
Best for: Those who want variety, a relaxed pace, and multiple landscapes in one session
What to expect:
We'll explore multiple locations—perhaps a redwood grove, then a coastal overlook, then a meadow at golden hour. Built-in breaks for snacks, outfit changes, or just catching your breath. This format lets us capture different moods and settings without feeling rushed.
Full‑Day Story Session — $1,800
Duration: 6-8 hours
Locations: 3-5 locations or one epic journey
Deliverables: 60+ professionally edited high-resolution images
Best for: Comprehensive documentation of your adventure—camping trips, multi-sport days, brand campaigns, or epic explorations
What to expect:
I'll follow your full adventure from morning light through golden hour. We might document a full day of climbing, hike from sunrise to sunset, or tell your complete brand story across multiple environments. This is about capturing the arc of a real experience, not just a session.
ELOPEMENT & CEREMONY COVERAGE
For couples planning intimate outdoor ceremonies, I offer specialized elopement coverage with comprehensive planning support, backup equipment, and extended coverage of your ceremony and celebration.
Elopement packages start at $1,800 (3-4 hours)

Choosing your location
Many clients come to me with a place that already holds meaning—the trail where they got engaged, the beach their family visits every summer, or a summit they've been dreaming of reaching. Others have a vision (coastal cliffs, redwood groves, alpine lakes) but need help choosing the perfect spot. Either way works beautifully.
I'll help you think through timing, accessibility, weather, and logistics to ensure your session runs smoothly.
I'm available for sessions throughout the Bay Area, across California, and beyond—from Big Sur to Yosemite, Tahoe to the Eastern Sierra, or anywhere your adventure takes us.

During our consultation, we'll discuss your vision and I'll recommend 2-3 locations that fit your style, comfort level, and the story you want to tell.
Do I need a Shot List?
You don't need a detailed shot list, but a few ideas help shape the session. Common requests include: - Walking together (always a winner) - Close-up details (hands, rings, expressions) - Wide environmental portraits showing the landscape - Movement shots (running, playing, exploring) - Quiet intimate moments If you have must-have images, mention them during our consultation and I'll make sure we capture them. Otherwise, I'll guide the session based on the light, location, and your natural interactions.
Travel
I’m always ready to go wherever your story takes us. I regularly travel to Big Sur, Yosemite, Tahoe, Point Reyes, Santa Cruz Mountains and beyond— if you've been dreaming of a specific location, let's make it happen.
Whether it’s hiking to a ridge at sunrise, paddling across a quiet lake, climbing into the alpine, biking through forest singletrack, or spending the day exploring a place that holds meaning for you, I’m there.
Travel within the Bay Area is included with every session. For adventures beyond that, we’ll create a simple, transparent travel plan together.
Adventures don't stop at the California border—I've shot in Nepal, Peru, Cambodia, Japan, Costa Rica, Eritrea and many other places. I'm always excited to explore new destinations with clients.
If your story leads us farther — to a national park, a coastline, a trail system, or a destination you’ve always wanted to explore — I’m happy to travel, hike, bike, kayak, climb, or wander alongside you to document it.
Leave No Trace
I photograph people in the places that matter to them, and I’m committed to keeping those places wild, healthy, and accessible for everyone. During our session, we’ll stay on durable surfaces, respect wildlife, and follow local guidelines so we can enjoy the landscape without impacting it. The outdoors gives us so much — taking care of it is part of the story.
Booking and Cancelation Policy
To book: A signed contract and 50% deposit secures your date.
Cancellations: If you need to reschedule, notify me at least 48 hours in advance and we'll find a new date at no charge. Cancellations within 48 hours forfeit the deposit.
Weather: If weather is unsafe or conditions are poor, we'll reschedule at no charge. I monitor forecasts closely and will reach out if I have concerns.
Image delivery: Standard turnaround is 2-3 weeks. Rush delivery available for $200.
Usage rights: All images include personal use and print rights. Commercial licensing available for business/brand work—contact me for details.
